Sandstone Patio — Garforth
Garforth, Leeds 8–10 working days (indicative)patios
BeforeAfter
The same view before and after the proposed design — drag to compare.
The brief
A rear garden with a patchy lawn, a tired uneven paved area and borders that had lost their shape. The owners wanted natural stone with warmth, plus two steps up to the back door.
Notes on the scheme
The illustrative plan uses the natural variation of riven sandstone as a feature rather than a flaw, with a curved retaining edge softening the transition to the lawn.
